The all-new MAX offers a higher/wider seat and incorporates a larger diameter Cross-Member and wide sturdy rims to accommodate 425 lbs of rider and gear weight. In addition, it is equipped with Schwalbe Big Apple tires, 1×11 SRAM drive train and the new Catrike Assist Bars that help support the rider when getting in and out of the seat. It is the most robust model in our line and has all the features you have come to expect on a Catrike: Avid disc brakes, signature hand rest, Catrike Peace Boom, adjustable seat angle, locking brake levers and Ackerman Steering. Catrike also offers this cycle with power assist. The eCAT Max features the Bosch Active Line Plus mid drive power assist motor (no throttle). The Bosch system offers maximum torque of 50nm and four levels of power assistance – Eco (40%), Tour (100%), Sport (180%), and Turbo (270%). The Bosch system will deliver assistance up to 20mph and a cadence of 105 (above this speed and cadence the motor will temporarily shut off per US safety requirements). The 400Wh battery has a maximum range of 62 miles; battery usage is dependent on terrain, power level, rider weight, wind resistance, etc. The system comes with an easy to read display and simple to use cycle computer to change your level of assist and monitor mileage, speed, and battery life. The eCAT Max is $6,250.00, including battery, charger, and integrated Supernova headlight and taillight kit.
