Wellspan York Adaptive Cycling Demonstration Day

Monday, September 30 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for a day of fun and empowerment at our Adaptive Cycling Demonstration Day!

This event aims to showcase the benefits of adaptive cycling for individuals with disabilities.
Dan Zimmerman, founder of Spokes Fighting Strokes, will share his experience as a stroke survivor and the role recumbent trikes played in his recovery. We’ll have a variety of cycles onsite for participants to try, including hand cycles. The goal is to demonstrate how adaptive cycles can leverage one’s abilities to overcome disability.

This event is FREE and open to individuals who are dealing with physical or cognitive challenges. All abilities welcome. Families and caregivers are invited to join in the fun. Light refreshments provided.
